Product Design, Packaging + Development

Bodibar Luxe Skincare

The initial brief was to design packaging for a new body scrub including a shower caddy to the hold sachets in the bathroom. The packaging had to be eye-catching and solve multiple consumer pain-points. It had to standout from the ordinary, ‘run of the mill’ kraft pouches or jars that body scrubs are generally packaged in. The solution was using biodegradable and compostable metallised cellulose film in single serve sachets as an eight pack retail pouch to make it travel-friendly, help eliminate product waste and avoid contamination. The project continued to include Body Mud Scrubs, Body Oils, Bath Salts, Bath Candles and accessories. The design and development took just over 8 months to complete.

Paper Eskimo Partyware

Cofounded Paper Eskimo in 2004 and built the brand as Australia's luxury line of partyware with over 1,200 products. From baking cups, plates, napkins to straws, invitations and cutlery. Every product was designed in-house from creative direction, to sampling, working with manufacturing partners off-shore to full distribution worldwide.

As co-founder of this brand, it was essential to see the packaging shift to a more eco-friendly solution. We redesigned the outer packaging of the entire line to include more cardboard and less plastic.

Plastic cylinder tubes were replaced with boxes.
